Film Composer, Germaine Franco has been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Music Branch. Franco is the first Latina composer to be selected ever. She joins a historic class which features a diverse group of professionals working in the industry. Franco was supported by many of her mentors including Sergio Mendes, Siedah Garrett, John Powell, Hans Zimmer, Laura Karpman, and Steve Hickner. Germaine is delighted and very grateful for the honor!
